Beautiful Location. Clean, Very Nice Villa

This villa is gorgeous and located on the intercoastal. The view from the back is gorgeous! Everything was very clean. We liked that there is everything we needed for the beach and also more - like bicycles, kayaks & paddleboards. However, we didn't use the paddleboards nor kayaks because to do so one would need to wear wet shoes in the water. It is a drop from the sea wall to the water to get them in the water. In the welcome book, it mentions wearing wet shoes so as not to cut one's feet on the barnacles. The 1st night we arrived, there wasn't power in the living room which we relayed to the property manager. He did resolve this the next morning. All in all we would recommend staying here. It's a short walk to the beach. We watched sunrises from the back patio and sunsets from the beach. Beautiful villa and quiet.

A Little Piece of Paradise

We spent 3 relaxing weeks at The Blair, one half of a 2-apartment duplex on a single level. The location just can't be beat. The villas sit right on a small bay off the St. John's Sound in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida. The beach is a two-block stroll from the front door. A major upside to this property is the property managers. The property had just changed hands prior to our stay and Alex had to deal with some hiccups. He was so responsive and conscientious about fixing even the smallest problem and making our stay perfect. The property has a lovely waterfront, complete with a Trex dock for launching the kayaks provided by the owner. There is a large picnic table for enjoying dinners cooked on the grill, or breakfast watching a sunrise. The firepit, surrounded by Adirondack chairs, is perfect for evenings of wine and conversation. We had lovely neighbors in the second villa and enjoyed socializing with them on our patio and around the firepit. Dolphins, pelicans, sting rays and a plethora of water birds inhabit the bay, including several bald eagles. The outdoor shower for cleaning off sand, was a great convenience. The villa itself has a small kitchen, adequate for eating meals if you prefer to eat indoors. The central living space is a nice size with couch and comfortable chairs, with a large screen smart TV. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. Clothing storage is adequate for 2 people on a one- or two-week stay. The second bedroom with 2 twin beds was fine for children. The villa was immaculate when we arrived. There is one bathroom, but the shower water pressure was terrific, and there was plenty of space for your personal products. All in all, we are returning next year, without a doubt!
