We had a delightful week at Tradewinds, which is a lovely house. It’s spacious and airy and has everything you could possibly want. We especially appreciated the baby supplies, such as baby gates and crib and pack and play and high chair. There were lots of beach toys, and the kitchen was large and had everything you could possibly need. Being right on the beach was so much fun for all of us, and the pool was perfect. We only had one problem crop up and the manager took care of it promptly. It’s on a cute, shell-topped stretch of road a little off Gulf Boulevard.

This was our second vacation at Tradewinds! It is an amazing location, house, everything you need is provided!! Plan on another vacation stay next year!!

We stayed at this gorgeous house during our Thanksgiving break, and even had another family stay with us making it 10 people in this house. The house was big enough for everyone to have their own space and everyone was very comfortable. The beach is so close to the house that it was perfect for everyone to be able to go to the beach and back to the house with no issues or worries. Had a great time in the pool and hot tub, it’s plenty big and very warm with the heater on! Inside the house had pretty much everything we needed without having to rush to the store, including pots and pans, pantry food, bath towels, a lot of beach towels and even some sunscreen. Great hosts, very responsive and reliable with any issues or questions. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants a relaxing vacation with no stress!! Perfect!

This home was absolutely PERFECT! We couldn't have found a better place to have our first ever family (6 adults, 5 grandkids) vacation, IF ONLY it wouldn't have been interrupted by Hurricane Idalia. We did get one full day on the beach before evacuation but we know the week would have been grand. The house, the location, the beach, the host - everything is top notch. This place gives you everything you could want/need. We hope to have the chance to re-plan and if we can we know where we will choose to stay.

We had another great stay at the Tradewinds this year. This house is clean, comfortable and convenient. The experience of living on a beach with a private pool and having great amenities makes for a wonderful time for guest of all ages.

This is hands down one of the best homes we've stayed at. Everything about this home makes you feel comfortable and is very well equipped. Lots of chairs, umbrellas and sand toys for the beach and floaties for the pool, everything you need is there. The kitchen is well equipped for any meal you want to cook up for the family to enjoy. Large and spacious living spaces and bedrooms. Perfect location and home for families, especially if you have kids. We enjoyed every sunset with ice cream that we got from Kooky Coconut, which is a 2 min walk away. Alex is super responsive if you ever need to reach out for any reason.

We just finished our 2nd family vacation at Tradewinds and were once again beyond thrilled with the experience! The house is beautiful, well-kept and has amazing views of the beach and Gulf. We are already booked for next spring break and can't wait to return! Thank you for taking such great care of us!

We just returned from our week king vacation at this awesome home. Our family ranged in ages from infant through 79 and there was plenty of room to both spend time with each other as well as get peace and quiet as needed. The home was fully equipped to cook full blown meals which is a first in my experience of renting homes. The rental process was easy - the home was beautiful and the beach - pool and weather were simply perfect. I cannot wait to stay here again - thank you so much!

A group of senior women could not have asked for more. .. clean, clean, clean, beautifully furnished, top of the line conveniences including everything and more that you would need, fantastic view, sparkling pool, dependable elevator and a “pay it forward” which is such a wonderful idea in which we used and participated. I only wish everyone staying here will appreciate the efforts made to keep this so wonderful and will leave it with tender loving care. We certainly hope to return.

Where do I begin? If I could assign a 6 star rating, I would! We had a fantastically fun family vacation at this location! I don't have enough adjectives to fully describe our fun-tastic experience! The house was just as beautiful and clean in person as it was in the VRBO photos! The decor is outstanding! We had 8 adults and 5 grandchildren staying at the house. Enough beds, bathrooms, beach & bath towels, playing/relaxing space for everyone! TVs in living room and each bedroom, but who had time for watching? Lots of amenities: beach toys and chairs, wagon to take toys down to the beach, pool toys/floats, large stacked washer/dryer, kitchen stocked with lots of dishes/glasses/utensils, large refrigerator/freezer, crockpot, grill on the balcony covered deck, and a surprise pantry with an assortment of groceries left by the previous renters. The "pay it forward" bar was a hit, especially upon our arrival. Everyone enjoyed the chairs on the balconies, heated pool and hot tub, pool chairs for sunbathing, and the white soft sand on the beach right out beyond the pool. The beach was not crowded, as it is located between two public accesses, so most people stayed close to those access locations. The water sports equipment (with life vests) were a hit! Having a place outside the pool to wash off sandy feet/bodies and a bathroom close to the pool (same level) were convenient! We had not rented a car, so having the house located within walking distance of Kooky Coconut (the fun sandwich/ice cream shoppe), CVS, Welcome Center, souvenir shop, and restaurants was perfect! Alex and Liz, our hosts, answered our emails and texts so quickily while we were in the planning stages, as well as when we arrived at the property. Never having rented a VRBO before, we didn't know what to expect, and they were so helpful and patient answering all our questions! They even "ordered" us perfect weather and gorgeous sunsets for our week at the beach! ;-) We would LOVE to come back! We have soooo many memories that will last us a lifetime!

This review will be short and sweet -- because who really wants to read a bunch of flowery compliments? Suffice to say we had a wonderful time even off-season, and, our experience was GREATLY enhanced by the marvelous seaside facilities we stayed in ("Tradewinds"). Normally any review has to be critical of SOMETHING in order to be taken seriously...but I genuinely cannot think of anything. The few questions or requests we had before and during our stay were immediately, professionally and usually personally addressed by Liz or Alex. So...check them out yourself and do have your family/multi-family or friends reunion or getaway with full confidence in Sand & Sun. I know WE will definitely be back!

Perfect location. Gorgeous beach and pool. House had all amenities needed, clean and ready to go. No complaints at all. Would definitely recommend as a vacation location. We had ages 1 to 65 and all items needed were provided.

The house was large, roomy and very clean. Everything we needed to enjoy our time there was perfect. The pool and beach toys were in great shape. I would recommend this house to others. Lucia Westmoreland

We just stayed there for a week, had a wonderful vacation. Very nice house, very clean, lots of room, and excellent beach right in front of the house.

The house was awesome! Location, pool and beach were great. Any questions we had while we were there were answered within a timely manner. Would definitely book again!

We booked the Tradewinds property for a group of 11 in early November. Liz and Alex were fantastic - they were quick to respond and answered all of my questions. The property is AMAZING for large groups. The house is large and well stocked with everything you may need to cook big meals. The pool is a great size and the pathway right to the ocean is an added plus. Also, the house is stocked with beach toys, chairs, and coolers! PERFECT for a fun family gathering or a group of friends!

Great beach house for family reunion, gathering or celebration. The kitchen has all needed amenities. The pool and spa were perfect. Our family can’t wait for our next visit.

This was by far the best vacation we have had. The house is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed and then some. I feel the owners and management go above and beyond to make sure their guests have a wonderful stay. The house is beautifully decorated and was spotless. I personally like to bring comforts of home when I go on vacation but I needed none of it in this house. I truly feel Blessed that we were able to stay in such a beautiful home. As for the beach, I found my new one. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I'm not a swimmer and we have a 4 1/2 year old so the beach was perfect. I hope to come back someday. Best Regards, Tina

My family of 7 adults and three children enjoyed every thing about this house It is updated and clean with all the amenities that you could desire. We cooked in but did enjoy a few restaurants. If you have time take a drive to Clearwater, it was fun to see. Our beach felt like our own. Perfect vacation.

Our family of 14 with kids, grandkids and grandparents found this house amazing. Something for everyone. The house itself was fabulous and tastefully decorated. The pool, hot tub (with remote), the kitchen with enough seating for all,the best we have ever rented. The beds/pillows were so comfortable. The "pay it forward" concept for the bar was a great idea. Others left some beer, wine and liquor...we left ours too. Makes for a comfortable first night when your don't have to run to the store. The beach was great. The house came with all the beach stuff you need...surfboard, paddleboard, bogie boards, kayaks, umbrellas, chairs. Oh and for the baby...crib, high chair, even a life jacket. We will be back...we hated to leave.
